Holy Sheet!

I'm still astonished, really awesome pics - my question, are the T3 which were sold in Australia built in Hannover, Germany as rhd or are they from Uitenhage, ZA?

I don't know, to be honest.

We went to a VAG show today, Frank got new shoes for the party :) Found these on a 982 Audi 100 in a wreckers a year or so ago and finally got around to getting them blasted, then cleaned them up and painted them:

Hello,
nice weather for a V.A.G meeting, in middle Germany we have - 4°C and snow came down.
My Santanas sleep well in the garages :-)

The alloy rims are from Audi 100 Typ43 (in series on "CD"):

Merkwürdig. Hatte der 43er A100 nicht generell 5 x 112?
Mir persönlich gefallen die fegen gar nicht, aber jedem das seine.

Adios

That's it! It had CD badges on the front grill and sides. It was a nice car once but had clearly been neglected for a long time when we found it; rust, dented panels, and moss and lichen growing all over it. I think it had been left outside for a long time, poor old car. Such a shame as it was a rare model for here.

It's 4 x 108. I really like the wheels, tracked down some of the centre caps in America and resprayed those too, I think they came out looking great!

The car show was fun, but way too hot. 35 with high humidity meant every one hid in the shade.

nee, nee, der Audi 100 Typ 43 hatte immer 4/108, während der 200er Typ 43 5/112 hatte. Der 44er hatte ebenfalls 4/108, bei vereinzelten späteren Varianten gabs auch 5/112... @Jodie : those wheels look unusual, but not bad ... it is something different ... and as you have already the 4/108 PCD it stays in the (VAG) family :D

ABsolutely! If I had found them on another make I wouldn't have done it, but they were from an Audi so it seemed quite appropriate! :)I call them spaceships because they look like UFOs. 90% of people who go to the VAG shows here turn up with Oz racing or BBS wheels. I like to be different :D

To be different is sometimes not easy but i like that attitude...because i like to be different also :D

beautiful car with very nice colour ( i like red ) and those dasher stripes on the sides are really cool :]

Well I find every time we go to a show, all the Golfs are wearing the same or very similar wheels. How boring! So I got the set that came on the B2 we wrecked, and the ones from the Audi 100, and had them sand blasted. Then we fixed all the curb rash and damage, painted them in silver and got tyres on them. I think they look fun, and nothing like the sea of BBS wheels that are on every second VAG car here :D

If anyone is interested, I am going to get a calendar made using photos of B1s. I would love to have some German B1s in it!

Closing date to submit photos is the end of June. They must be photos you have taken and have the rights to :)

Anyone interested in a small group of B1s? :) Look what we managed to pull off last weekend at our annual VW Show! A whole pack of B1s!

http://vwdasher.com/index.php/forum/10-c…ember-2012#3279

Also, there are still some B1 calendars available, for 2013, so grab one for Christmas! Plus, please think about submitting some high resolution photos of your cars for the 2014 edition. I so want some German B1s! :)

Wow! Vw- especially the Dasher Scene in down under is much bigger than expected 8o

Nice: bmw-rims;-)

What about the rims the white station wagon has mounted on? They nearly look like modified Pirellis...

Oh that was very unusual and took months to organise :) Usually there's only one or two Passats that come to the show. It's been many, many years since that many Passats and Foxes got together.

I know, the wheels on the white variant are rather nice, aren't they!

Hiya!

just wanted to remind everyone about the 2014 B1 calendar :)

http://www.vwdasher.com/index.php/the-b1-calendars

Entries close at the end of June. Photos must be 5meg or higher. Take your car somewhere interesting and take at least half a dozen shots from all angles then send them to me! I want German cars for this edition, can you help? :) All cars who are selected get a free copy once the calendar is printed later in the year.

Thanks!
