I put the word "just" on the Blacklist - the reason was to prevent some spam mails addresses from registering here. The result was me being denied to put up some text as well, since I have a certain habit of using the word as well...

I tried to convince him to buy it but he didn't want to go on that price.


One question.

My master brake cylinder is old type with brake light switch on it.
I want to replace with new type.

Do I have to change the brake lines or I can just modify the existing?

I have a 9" brake booster and I want to replace it with a 10" which I bought a few weeks ago but the old type don't fit with 10" booster.
It's shorter than a new type so I need to replace all together.

Hi Ivan!

When You are still changing the brake cylinder, it is reasonable to change the brake light switch into the "new" version. You can use any switch with thread on it. Here a photo for example:

These switches are more durable and safer than the old version. Wiring is easy. I had done it at my `77 Passat, p&p, works well.

Don't worry for your english. ;)

I have 2 pieces of passat original switches for brake light.

It's simple for fixing.
Just cut of connectors on wires of old switch and solder wires on new connector.
